Time is running out to enter the CCLA

Time is running out to enter nominees for The Climate Change Leadership Awards (CCLA). Entries close on 6 February 2012 – so visit www.ccla.co.za as soon as possible.

The CCLA are the first awards in South Africa and Africa that recognize, reward, motivate and celebrate businesses, communities, youth, schools and individuals that are taking the lead to combat climate change through positive voluntary action. Global Carbon Exchange (GCX) has decided to sponsor a training course to the value of approximately R6500 for each category winner, as GCX also subscribes strongly to the belief that leaders in the field of sustainability should be recognised for their efforts.

The CCLA contributes significantly to inspiring and promoting awareness and action towards a low carbon economy, and thus a healthier society and a more sustainable planet.
