Global Carbon Exchange has opened offices in South Africa. The head office will be in Bryanston, Johannesburg from the beginning of January.

Country Director, Kevin James believes the South African carbon market is there for the taking. "There is a general lack of awareness of how CDM and carbon markets act as incentive to businesses for doing the right thing."
